There was a time where I'd do anything and everything for you. That time was right before you accepted my love and right after you threw it away. And that's how the cookie crumbles.
A lot of times I find myself in a stifling relationship with the wrong person. There is a nagging sensation inside me telling, beckoning, demanding that I do something, something awesome and unique. But there's no time or physical power to quench that thirst.
Relationships should be fruitful and progressive, I thought. But instead, I realized I am the most active and passionate right before and after a relationship. As Giancarlo wrote in his article Does Love Stifle Creativity?: "Finding the right person to share your life and work with will ultimately bring you a broader perspective on creativity and life as a whole." Well said, maybe.
